ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
V. Srinivasan is the managing director and chief executive officer of 3i Infotech Ltd, a global technology company with about 2500 employees. He is responsible for the company’s spectacular expansion from its inception to the current levels.
A graduate in mathematics from Madras University, Srinivasan joined the ICICI group, the second largest banking group in India, in 1980. He has had varied exposure in areas such as client relationship, project finance, rehabilitation, systems and procedures, and accounts. His expertise in operations, combined with a thorough academic background in finance and a flair for systems, has allowed him to re-engineer several of ICICI group's processes to make them among the most modern and enviable in the industry
